Tell us a little about yourself?
Hey whatās good I go by Mills Marlee of Sounds From MARS Production Company Worldwide, Iām a music producer out of Long Island NY, currently living in the Carolinas.
How did you come up with your artist name?
Mills is my name that I’ve been known by for years and as a kid coming up I always struggled with a rap name, around 2008 when I still had a little interest in rapping I just said I’m gonna use my name and add Marlee to it like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing, Mills being the more impulsive temperamental side of me and Marlee being the more peaceful calm positive side. I gave up wanting to rap years ago but kept the name as a Producer.
How did you get started in the music business in the first place?
Back in the day me and a few friends of mine got into recording and making beats on FL Studio, Cake Walk, Reason like in ā02. It wasnāt anything serious and we were kids who didnāt really have the certain vision that some do so nothing blossomed from it and life went on.
I got back into it 15 years later in 2017 as a hobby to stay occupied and it went from that to actually finally taking it serious the winter of 2018.
Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
Many but most relatable to me for my venture would be the Neptune’s aka Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo for creating Star Trak the label.
What is the concept behind your forthcoming project if working on one?
My very first project will be just a showcase of my various styles of production within the hip hop genre.
What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?
Be more of yourself and engage with the audience as much as possible.
Will you be collaborating with any other artists in the future?
Most definitely, I just got into collaborating with producers and so far have two tracks out with one. Looking to do some more soon.

No one notable as of yet but the independent up and coming artists that Iāve worked with so far have been great and professional, there needs to be more of that with us who havenāt āmade itā yet.
