I’m from Chicago, the Eastside, South C to be specific. Father of 3 & hip hop saved me. I’ve lived muzik since I was a kid.
How did you come up with your artist name?
Andreaus Haley is my real name.
How long have you been in the music industry?
Maybe since 2011. I stopped in 2017 after my mom’s passed away, this is my resurgence.
How did you get started in the music business in the first place?
I was in a group called “Substance Muzik”. We had a great run, that’s kinda where I got my feet wet. Been going strong ever since.
How would you describe your latest single?
It’s a banger, the beat just make you move soon as you hear it. I feel my lyrics on it is just a small representation of Chicago streets with a few metaphors. Overall I think it’s & hoping the public will love it also.

Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
Nas, Common, Kanye, the whole Wu-Tang, 2pac, my cousin Johnny, Gemstones, Vic Spencer, the whole Chicago.
How do you go about writing a song and what is your process?
I just write what the beat say, smoke a blunt or 2 lol.
What is the concept behind your forthcoming project if working on one?
It’s about prosperity, overcoming struggles & obstacles. That’s why I named it “Beat The Odds” life be whooping our ass sometimes jo, but we gotta fight back though #BeatTheOdds
Any plans on touring to promote your latest single?
I’m actually trying to set up some shows now.
What are must haves when your in the studio working?
Water, trees, fruit, & chicken lol
Will you be collaborating with any other artists in the future?
I have a few in mind, can’t speak to early though.

Twista, Kanye, Nas, School Boy Q, the whole Wu-Tang lol, Elzhi, its a lot jo. Oh shyt, can’t forget Redman jo.
Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content?
Probably the beats, but I be hoping the flow though lol.
What area do you need to improve on in regards to your career? (Example: Better production, Delivery, Stage presence, etc…)
Better marketing & promotion.

2pac, he’s the goat. He made you FEEL his muzik.

Hilmore Greene, Vic Spencer, Benny The Butcher, Nas, myself.
How do you feel about the current state of music?
I love it, you can put muzik out straight to the consumer. Develop your own fan base & following.
What is your main goal as far as music?
To just supply great muzik to the people who love my muzik. I just wanna be heard & felt, maybe my words can express what someone else was feeling.
What separates you from other artists? (What’s makes you different?)
I don’t know jo, I ain’t finna try to make up some shyt. I’m just me, that’s the difference. They them, I’m me lol.
When your not in the studio, What do you like to do for fun and relaxation?
Bowling, watch movies, play/read/ do anything with kids. Regular shit jo lol, nothing major. I love traveling & I haven’t dipped in a min. Might be time for a trip jo.
If you could work with any producer who would it be?
Havoc & Alchemist. Read too & Dr. Dre, it’s to many jo lol. Definitely Alchemist though.
What is your dream venue to perform at?
The Chicago Theatre downtown.

The Science of Being Great by Wallace D Wattles
What can we expect from you in the future?
More new muzik, videos, shows,, & I’m working on some other things that’ll be taking place soon. Just keep ya ears & eyes open.
