Tell us a little about yourself?
Hi I’m Zander Bleck, founding member of Mojave Grey. I’m a singer and song writer mostly, but take on many roles in this new project.
How did you come up with your artist name?
I have loved the Desert and particularly the Mojave desert from the first time I ever visited. It’s always been a grounding magical place. I have since moved part time there and wanted a name that reflected off this land. The “Grey“ represents the middle ground of genres I wanted the project to represent. It’s not rock, not electronic, not pop but somewhere all between.

Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
I want Mojave Grey to be a world wide known act.
How do you go about writing a song and what is your process?
It’s quite different each time but usually a melody comes first and I’ll improv sing some words and surprisingly usually I’ll say one word that sticks and then the song can be crafted around that.
