Bo Dean was a family nickname that they called my dad. They started calling me little Bo and in middle school, I ran with that as my nickname. When I started rapping, I turned that into my artist name. It stands for Best Observer Dat Ever Analyzed Nature.

What is the concept behind your forthcoming project if working on one?
My most recent project is a collaborative album with artist/producer Kahsan, entitled “The Relic” which means an object surviving from an earlier time, especially one of historical or sentimental interest.
We name the project this because it will withstand the tests of time and remain valuable and deemed a “classic.” In my opinion, that’s what a classic is. Music that withstood the tests of time and is still held in high regard. That’s how this album we be looked at.
