
Tell us a little about yourself?
KingWolf is a hip hop recording artist from Washington State now residing in Seattle. Previously known as an activist and also a boxer, he started making music in 2017.
The name KingWolf pays homage to the movement he created called World Operation Lost Freedom, or W.O.L.F. for short. With the belief that anyone can change the world, KingWolf has set out to encourage and influence a new way of living and looks forward to the day when he can help the world around him through his work.
Growing up he was exposed to a wide variety of music including Eminem, Insane Clown Posse, Disturbed, Godsmack, and AC/DC. Later on in high school he would listen to artists like E-40, 2Pac, and Too $hort. KingWolf’s music has been compared to Eminem and he’s worked with many different artists over the past few years including Annunaki Cruz, Str8trash, Gio Martini, MC Mach, Natesfm, Soulproject, Suicidetre, Jt-Blaze and Nykk @ Nyte.
How did you come up with your artist name?
I created a movement called W.O.LF and I wanted everything I do to bring awareness to that. To what I’m trying to accomplish.
How long have you been in the music industry?
About 4 and a half years.
How did you get started in the music business in the first place?
I wanted to Leave my message behind and music never truly disappears.
How would you describe your latest single?
My latest release is called “Take Me Away” it’s a sad song about how I feel somedays trying to wake people up. It’s been a war inside my head.
When can fans expect the visuals for the single?
They are available now on YouTube. Take Me Away by KingWolf has a AMV already released for it.
Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
Honestly just me. I wanna have my own sound so I don’t listen to many others.
How do you go about writing a song and what is your process?
I get started by freestyling to a beat. Then from that moment of inspiration I start writing out the song.
What is the concept behind your forthcoming project if working on one?
Forthcoming? As in upcoming? The concept is how old everything is getting. About being too different to understand this world.
Any plans on touring to promote your latest single?
No, it’s a sad song I probably wont tour with.
What did you buy with your first check off music?
Classes online. Knowledge is important.
What are must haves when you’re in the studio working?
Quiet surroundings.
What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?
Pick a theme for your page and stick to it.
Will you be collaborating with any other artists in the future?
Yes, I collaborate with a few artist a year.
What artist have you had the pleasure of working with and what was it like?
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Annunaki Cruz, Str8trash, Gio Martini, lxw, MC Mach, Natesfm, Soulproject, Suicidetre, Jt-Blaze and Nykk @ Nyte over the last 4 years. Each and every one of them brought alot to the music I’ve made and I enjoyed working with them a lot. So much talent and passion.
Name an artist(s) that you would love to work with?
I just wanna make more music with people I’ve already worked with. Always open to new sounds though if something catches my attention ill collab on it.
Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content?
I think my music is enjoyed for the message and relatability mostly.
What area do you need to improve on in regards to your career? (Example: Better production, Delivery, Stage presence, etc..)
Devoting more time to my audience. I hate social media so it can be hard to fully utilize it somedays. That and beat production.

How do you feel about the current state of music?
I think it’s far too focused on drugs, politics, and violence.
What is your main goal as far as music?
To leave my message behind and hopefully inspire a few people through my work. I’d like to earn enough to help others and live a comfortable life.
Who would you say your music relates to the most?
Honestly, this has been one of my biggest struggles in the industry.

What separates you from other artists? (What’s makes you different?)
My main message is about change, most of my music is about the world and the people.
When you’re not in the studio, What do you like to do for fun and relaxation?
I read a book or work out.
What’s the biggest highlight of your career thus far?
Well, its not a musical highlight but rather an introduction of myself and a speech that I gave at a freedom rally with about a thousand people this year during January.
What is your dream venue to perform at?
I don’t really perform much but I give speeches in person. I’d like to give speeches in front of massive crowds. Inspire more people.
What’s the name of the last book you read and by whom?
The Way of The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman
Name someone famous who inspires you and why?
Bruce Lee. He over came so much in such a short period time and proved how far someone can go regardless of the hand they are dealt in this life. His strength and wisdom is something that’s hard not to take note of.
