Tell us a little about yourself?
I go by the name ‘Fazcash’. I was born downtown St. Louis, MO in the Cochran projects. I have always loved music. I come from a family of 6. I have 3 brothers & 2 sisters. I am the middle child.
How did you come up with your artist name?
I got my stage name ‘Fazcash’ because I have always been good with money. I have always made my own money, wether it came from the streets or honestly working for it. I don’t waste time, I get it done pretty quick lol. I cut off the S and T out of ‘fast’ and put a Z at the end because it’s strong. I like to stand out. I like to be unique that’s what keeps me creative!
How long have you been in the music industry?
I’ve had a love for music my whole life. I remember watching Nas, Jay Z, Dipset etc as a kid and I used to think ‘to myself, “I’ll be there one day”. I have been investing my own money into it since 2014.
How did you get started in the music business in the first place?
I used to sneak in the palace and saints watching hit man holla. J-kwon Koko cvere the whole 9 etc. performing and battling in the rap battles. Watching that gave me inspiration. I think watching Nelly and chingy blow up really put my thinking cap on to just take a risk in life and not be scared to take a leap of faith.
How would you describe your latest single?
The lastest singles I have drop is committed, rackz and 43Va. Committed is a song to inspire people not to give up on your dreams ‘rackz’ is a song for people that like to splurge after they worked hard and 43Va is more for the ladies and the sun for that song is no matter what we all gave ups and down but with a little patience’s you can weather any storm.
When can fans expect the visuals for the single?
Can’t put a date on that as of now but just know it will be soon I apologise for the wait in my lil Wayne voice lol.
Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
Well for starters I will say master P, Jay-Z, P.Diddy and Nelly they started at the bottom and they are at the top but if you don’t put in the foot work how do you expect to get anywhere so watching them helped me push harder and think wiser how I invest my money.
How do you go about writing a song and what is your process?
When I typically write a song I start off listen to 80’s and 90’s music then I listen to the 2000’s music up to date then that give me all type of ideas and that helps opens up my thinking to be more creative.
What is the concept behind your forthcoming project if working on one?
I will keep that a secret as of now I know the fans will definitely like my new music I’m dropping.
Any plans on touring to promote your latest single?
Yes I will be traveling to Chicago, Memphis, St. Louis of course. New York and ATL and Texas as of now.
What did you buy with your first check off music?
The 1st time I got a check I wanted to buy a chain and a car lol simple things like that but I took it and put it to my marketing the more you promote yourself the my content you can build so it’s like I was basically still broke but I’m a risk taker you only live once.
What are must haves when your in the studio working?
When I’m in the studio I like to be alone.I work better, I think better, I need food and hella snacks lol oh and of course my orange juice and water gotta have a clear mind while processing good music.
What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?
The best advice I have got and learn is that this game is 10 percent talent and 90 friendships so be careful and mindful of who you make a friend and who you make a enemy.
Will you be collaborating with any other artists in the future?
Yes it’s actually a few but I will leave that a surprise as well. Just stay tuned in with the kid I don’t let y’all down.
What artist have you had the pleasure of working with and what was it like?
I have worked with a few including (lil st.louis) working with him was pretty dope he laid back and is all about business. I have worked with (big head the dome doctor) he was formally with trill fam ENT with (Boosie and webbie) from Baton Rouge he was definitely cool to work with and understand the business side of the music industry.
Name an artist(s) that you would love to work with?
I would love to work with J-Cole, Currency, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Nas and theres a few more but I won’t bore you guys lol.
Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content?
I would say both the beats I get be dope and something you can vibe plus I’m a story teller.
What area do you need to improve on in regards to your career? (Example: Better production, Delivery, Stage presence, etc…)
Me being an artist I will say there is always room for improving no matter how good you are so I always try to find a flaw so I can improve in that area.
What’s your all-time favourite song?
Well I have a lot of songs and artist I like I can’t just pick one it wouldn’t be fair lol every song has a different feeling it’s meaning and purpose. You got your happy songs, sad songs and hype songs etc.
What was the last album you listened to?
Last album I listed to was like Durk and I will say 7220 is a pretty good album he matured a lot on this one.
Your favourite artist of all time and why?
Michael Jackson dude was cold as ice. Anytime you can just stand on stage and have people faint lol you most definitely the goat.
Whose your favourite five artists right now?
J-Cole, Currency, Drake, Lil Durk and Kodak black.
In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre today and why?
Drake and I say this because dude don’t miss, performance on point delivery and music etc.
Who have been some of your favourite artists that you’ve been able to work with?
Well right now we have a lot of people in the works for a lot of new and upcoming music I’m dropping so we gone keep dat a secret as of now I just want to see the looks on the fans faces when it goes public.
How do you feel about the current state of music?
I’m pretty confident.
Any dream award shows you hope to one day play at?
I would definitely love to do the BET awards and a super bowl that’s my dream.
What is your main goal as far as music?
To make it to the top. I have billionaire dreams I don’t think small so I’m going hard behind this till the wheels fall off!
Who would you say your music relates to the most?
I’m very versatile so I can reach and touch anybody where they can relate to my music that’s what make me as an Artist.
What separates you from other artists? (What’s makes you different?)
I can do drill beats, love songs, rock n roll and country lol theres not a song I can’t do I’m creative and I think outside the box as much as possible to stand out and be different.
When your not in the studio, What do you like to do for fun and relaxation?
I like to be around family, travel and just overall have fun but I’m always writing music no matter what I’m doing or where I’m at music just installed in my soul I could never get bored with it.

Zaytoven, Jazzy Pha, Metro Boomin, Mike Will and Jermaine Dupri etc
What’s the biggest highlight of your career thus far?
I would say opening up for money man that definitely open up a few doors for me.

Madison square gardens

The Price Machiavelli by Christian gauss
What’s your favourite sports team and why?
The L.A. Rams and I choose them because even though they left STL they will forever be hometown for me.
Whose your favourite actor or actress and their best movie?
Denzel Washington and Equalizer can’t forget Ice cube and Friday and boys in the hood for him.
Name someone famous who inspires you and why?
Kanye west he is a genus.
What can we expect from you in the future?
I hope to start a clothing line and put out a few movies.
